Warfield Show Postponed- Posted by:
(11.30.04) |
|
¤ Those of you with tickets
to the San Francisco show tonight can stay at home. HIM
has postponed the date until February 26th, 2005. The
reason isn't quite clear, but Ville is possibly sick.
The other two US dates (Dec. 2 and 4) have
yet to be postponed, but if he is indeed sick, these may
be postponed too. Call the venues before you leave home.

having trouble sending e-mails out. Everything is being
bounced. Hopefully this issue will be resolved soon and
we'll reply as soon as possible.

Ville. It's an interesting article where Ville admits he
collects "Do Not Disturb" signs. Entertaining
as always, check it out here.

1/2 of the Sac Reviews HIM- Posted by:

¤ Hell yeah, it's the baby's first update. I decided to take control for a minute and let you guys know how awesome my time was in Minneapolis for the HIM show. You could look at it like The Sacrament went to HIM, but since only I went and not Jay, it's only half. Sad. Anyway, here's my review. If you're not interested in how the show went and just want to see pictures, then here you go.
¤ Like was cleared up on the forums, HIM only had those two Prince songs on the setlist as a joke, it was never played. People keep asking me about that. I don't think there's really any other news out there, except that you can pre-order the HIM Video Collection DVD on Amazon and Transition Store.

Ville Valo's 28th Birffdizzle- Posted by:
(11.22.04) |
|
¤ Just a quick note to wish
Ville Valo a happy 28th birthday. He has thankfully missed
his deadline to be a legend.
Also, anyone who tells you HIM covered "Purple
Rain" and "1999" is an idiot. Really, call
them an idiot to their face. It's cool. Though the songs
were on the setlist, neither song was played. It was a joke.
Also thank those same people who steal reviews, yet forget
to credit us.

¤ I had to reformat earlier
in the week, so if you sent me an e-mail this week and I
haven't replied...I can't. I lost all the mail. Sorry for
the inconvenience.
¤ I have some reviews of the
current US Tour. Credit to the individual authors for their

I know Valo
was pretty trashed on Monday night. Poor guy, he's only
human. It sucks for all the live HIM virgins out there who's
first show was this one, but he's not going to be the next
(insert young singer who died tragically). You were just
the unlucky ones who got the horrible show in the line of
hundreds of decent ones.
And no, it wasn't "Bam's fault."
I've heard from several people close to the matter that
everyone else was relatively sober. I'll step down from
my soapbox now.
¤ The Skreppers will be the
supporting act Dec. 30 at Tavastia, and Soul
Tattoo will be the supporting act for New Year's Eve.

¤ There will be another newsletter
sent out next weekend, so if you haven't signed up, you're
missing out. Now's your chance to be cool like everyone
else.

¤ As you may or may not know,
Ville along with the Rasmus guy (Lauri?) recently did a
song with Apocalyptica called "Bittersweet." The
video was recently released and you can view it here.

¤ I'm confizzled fo'shizzle
my nizzle about this whole HIM vs. Bam DVD nonsense. Here's
the latest scoop: March 2005 some sort of DVD is going to
be put out in Europe. What it has on it is beyond me. The
people of the Forum
seem to know what's going on better than I do, so
ask them.
Did you see that cheap plug? Naawwice!
¤ I have some new bootlegs
for trade. I should have some more soon, but in the meantime
here's the latest two.
M'era Luna Festival VCD (8.11.02)
TLA (Philly) CD (4.16.04)
¤ I added some new wallpapers
and a
short review of the Halloween gig.
Also, YES, I know Ville played at a dildo release
party for his friend. He played 3 acoustic songs from the
new album. "Under
The Rose", "Have No Fear" and "The
Face of God."
¤ In a bit of a sidenote (or is
that all we ever are?), Ville placed #13 overall among Finland's
top 100 Greatest Finns Ever. I think it's fitting he
got 13th (considering his love for evil, ha!) but he's 3rd
when you remove all the dead guys. (Credit: Russian

DVD News- Posted by:
(10.30.04) |

¤ Let's try to sort out this
DVD business, shall we?
Here are the scoops:
November 1st, a UK only DVD will be
coming out entitled HIM vs. Bam, which is a collection
featuring Bam Margera's 3 "Making the Wideo (Video)"
documentaries for "Buried Alive By Love," "The
Sacrament," and the previously unreleased "And
Love Said No." Bonus footage will include the video
for "Solitary Man," an interview with Ville and
TV ads and trailers.
December 1st, the US DVD will be released.
This is going to be a video collection, featuring all but
three of the band's videos. Some extras will be interviews
and "Making of" type thingies.
March 2005, the promised HIM DVD that
we've been hearing about since 2003 may be released.
This is the big one with live footage and other crap that
I forgot about.
That should clear up any confusion as to
what's coming up.
Also, Love Metal will be released
in the US February 1, 2005.
