† So my partner
(in crime, that is) Shane broke the news and the hearts
of thousands of fans in the HIMisphere (oh fuck
me, that was terrible) by confirming, at least for now,
that HIM is not going to be touring Cali, Philly, or
New Yawwk. But, for those of you overseas, here are
some new prospective tour dates.
Santander Summer Festival in Spain in late June, and
Transylvania, Sibiu, Romania in mid-July. Something
with a little more meat shall soon come around about
these dates.

† Also, is anyone
else excited that Ville is going to be on the new Cradle
of Filth album? I've been digging CoF's newer work.
"Nymphetamine" is the most played video in
my car, besides that one Taylor Rain video that we don't
talk about.
† And oh yes...there
will be bootlegs.
I have more coming soon, as I'm reauthoring my DVDs
and starting to put that live & rare video compilation
together. It has some good stuff on there so far. Here's
what we have for now.
Virus DVD (8.22.98) **
Overdrive DVD (12.7.98)
Schattenreich (Onyx.tv) DVD (xx.xx.03)
Sheperds Bush (London) DVD (9.19.05) **
Leipzig CD (2.17.06) **

† By the looks of things, we were wrong about dates being added for Philadelphia and New York in the open time during this upcoming tour. It's been said that this time around, they will just be hitting some areas they missed last fall. So, for now, no Philadelphia. No New York. No California.
Today, while doing some random surfing, I came across an ad for a new CD called Headbangers Ball: The Revenge. It's put out by Road Runner Records, along with MTV2. I figured I'd check out the track listing, and when digging amongst the Korn and the Maiden, I found "Vampire Heart." For those of you not "in the know," this is HIM's second time on a Headbangers Ball compilation. Last year, they were on Volume 2, with "Your Sweet Six Six Six." Headbangers Ball: The Revenge will be released on April 11. Here it is on Amazon.
We've been kind of lazy lately for posting news, so please forgive us. The Forum is always a great way to find out what's going on in the Valo-sphere.
Cheap plug: I recently started blogging, and you can view this blog here. Feel free to leave comments so that I know I exist. Most of my content revolves around music, so it may be of interest.
I hate MySpace, but in case you didn't know, here is HIM's Official MySpace.

Tick, tick! Tick, tick! Only two hours (central time)
left! Valentine's doesn't end at 10, and neither does
Steak
and BJ Day.
Um, thanks to my buddy Al
for hooking us all up with the clips of Ville on Loveline.
They're a few weeks old, but the point is, for those
of us who missed out, here you go. Thanks!

Isaac Hayes is
such a fucking hypocrite, is he not?
† And
yes, the rumors are true...HIM is returning to the states
in May! They will be playing with Aiden,
as Shane said earlier. Here are the tentative tour dates.
Before you bitch about there being no Cali, Philly or
NY dates...pay attention to the gaps in the dates. There
is plenty of time to squeeze in a few shows here and
there. I plan on being in Houston, San Antonio, and
possibly Grand Prairie. El Paso is just too damn far
for me. (Credit: LoveMetal)

HIM Spring US Tour?- Posted by:
(3.13.06) |
|
† Well, I'm back
from painting Detroit with The 69 Eyes to find
a buzz about an upcoming HIM tour. According to the
website for the band Aiden, (Aiden.org)
HIM will be hitting the road this spring in May and
early June. Aiden announced that they will be supporting
"one of their favorite bands" and moving their UK Tour
to another time.
The only date that has surfaced thus far is in Maplewood, MN. Isn't it convenient that the first date we learn about is the one that I'll be attending? I think it is. That's the one date that has shown up on ticketmaster. We'll have more on this as it comes along.
As far as my 69 Eyes show goes, it went supurb. I got to meet Jyrki 69 and get my picture taken with him outside of St. Andrew's, as well as catch a broken Jussi drumstick and get the setlist. Everything that I wanted to hear, they played... and I even got to hear "TV Eye" in the soundcheck! Rock!

The New HIM Hub!- Posted by:

† Sorry we've been
MIA for a while. My 'net connection has been fucked
up and Shane is traipsing around Detroit in search of
the 69 Eyes. That's right, traipsing. BUT, HUGE
props to Jamie and Fuzzy for getting the HIM Hub working
again. I know the old one was a bit troubled, but practice
makes perfect. Get
all the info here. I promise to be back with more
over the weekend. I will also be replying to e-mails,
so don't get impatient.
Many of you are asking about the CD
list on the Bootleg
page. It is now updated. I have a few bootlegs to add
also.
