Fuck Rock am Ring 2005 ;)- Posted by:
(6.5.05)
¤ Note: Thanks in part to Rock
am Ring 2005, we are experiencing a Peter North-worthy
load of traffic. Please bear with us.
¤ For those that woke up early
enough, you could have caught the show from a live stream.
HIM played some new tracks, as promised. "Killing Loneliness"
and "Vampire Heart" were played, and I am liking
the way the new album is going so far.
Thanks to my good friend Shakes
for hooking me up with this, as I was lazy and slept in
this morning.
¤The
good people in the forum are all over this show, so
you may be able to get yourself a copy in there. Just be
nice and re-post it for others to get as well.
Secret Show, New Song- Posted by:
(6.3.05)
¤ Finally the HIM news is starting
to truck along.
SECRET SHOW
HIM did a surprise show at the German fanclubs meeting at
Munich's great Backstage Club Thursday night. This weekend
the band is performing at Rock im Park and Rock am Ring
festivals in Nurnberg and Nurburgring in Germany and then
heading for the UK and Download Castle Donington festival.
The setlist:
Right Here In My Arms
The Sacrament
Wicked Game
Soul on Fire
Killing Loneliness*
Poison Girl
Buried Alive By Love
Join Me
Vampire Heart*
Your Sweet 616*
Funeral of Hearts
"Vampire Heart" is obviously a new track, as
is "Killing Loneliness." "Your Sweet 616"
refers to when Ville was on Radio Bam talking about a news
story back in Finland about a Bible being found that is
100 years older than the Bible we use today, and in it it
said that 616 is the true number of the beast. I don't know
if he actually said "616" or "666,"
though.
Acoustic Dick Teasing & More- Posted by:
(6.1.05)
¤ If you had Sirius Radio and
happened to tune into Radio Bam last night (on Faction 28)
you would have caught an "acoustic dick-tease"
from Ville in the form of "Killing Loneliness."
If you don't like Bam, you'll hate this
download. I guess I could have cut the track more, but
I happen to be a fan, so fuck off. Anyway, check it out
here.
It should be noted that Ville's drunk, so he doesn't make
it past the 2nd verse. It is what it says it is. Also, I
typed up some preliminary lyrics.
Memories sharp as daggers
Pierce into the flesh of today
Suicide of love took away all that matters
And buried the remains in an unmarked grave in your heart
With the venomous kiss you gave me I'm killing loneliness
With the warmth of your arms you saved me,
I'm killing loneliness with you
I'm killing loneliness that turned my heart into a tomb
I'm killing loneliness with you
With You
*A note about downloading the files: DO NOT
try to "Save Target As" because it'll fuck up
and think it's a leech. DO NOT try to use a downloading
program, it'll fuck up and think it's a leech. The easiest
way to do it is just to click it. You won't leave the page,
you don't need to open a new window, just click and it should
work.
¤ According to H-I-M666
Club, the tracklist for Dark Light is:
01. Dark Light
02. Behind The Crimson Door
03. Face Of God
04. Bound To Be Wrong
05. Killing Loneliness
06. Under The Rose
07. Forever Haunted
08. Wings Of A Butterfly
09. Night In Despair
10. Drunk On Shadows
There may or may not be a few more tracks added,
but the first single should be out in August. Also, HIM
plans on playing some new tracks during their Summer festivals...so
if you go to the show, be sure to tape them, fuckers!
¤ In the July issue of AP (that's
Alternative Press) there's a small article about
Ville and the new album. It's just a blurb, but Ville claims
"We're five tall guys from Scandinavia. We can beat
anyone's asses. But I do find myself watching SpongeBob
Squarepants and weeping a lot... I think we're like Manowar,
just more in touch with our femininity."
