¤ The tour
page has been updated. A few new European dates have
been added. Nothing else has been said about the US dates,
so sit tight.
¤ "The Funeral Of Hearts"
entered on its first week at number 15 in The Official UK
Singles Chart. The Funeral Of Hearts is a third
UK single release from the album Love Metal.
The show in Londons legendary Astoria Club on February
23rd is sold out. This is the third sold out night at Astoria
for the band in less than a year. (Credit: Heartagram)
¤ The Emma Awards (Emmagaala.fi)
has nominated HIM for Best Hard Rock/Metal album, Band of
the year, & Best domestic act. (Credit: HIM
666 Club)
¤ Trevor Erb over at Decoy Music has reviewed Razorblade
Romance. It's great to see all the excellent reviews
here in the States. Especially since they all love the album.
Check
it out.
New Bootlegs- Posted by:

¤ Alright, you've asked for it, so
here they are. 12 new bootlegs for your ass.
¤ On a side note, I have the first
half of Tavastia 2004 converted to VCD format. I'm having
trouble doing the second half. If anyone can offer any help,
it'd be greatly appreciated. I got the files from the BitTorrent
link I posted earlier, here.
¤ Good news fellow Americans! Ville
was on Y100 Monday morning. He and Bam were doing an interview
and "Join Me" was played. A caller asked when
and if they would be touring America. Ville's answer: "Around
April."
My birthday is in April, what a damn good
birthday present that'd be! I'll fly my ass anywhere in
the country if I have to.
¤ HIM was in America this past weekend
to shoot the two new videos for "And Love Said No"
and "Solitary Man." Both are being directed by
Bam.
In the interview MTV3+ did with Bam, he mentioned
something about Rose McGowan doing one of the videos, but
who knows.
¤ Finnish rag Kaista
spoke to Ville about HIM's future plans. Ville mentioned
that the "Best of" CD entitled "And Love
Said No: Best Of" is going to be about 80 minutes.
It will include two new songs, "And Love Said No"
and "Solitary Man" written by Neil Diamond.
As for a new album, we'll have to wait until 2005. Until
them, we only have the best of CD (March 2004)
and DVD (Christmas 2004) to look forward to.
Ville said he had ideas for about ten new songs, but won't
record them until late 2004. In spring 2005, HIM will start
a huge promotion of upcoming album all over the world.
And Love Said No Lyrics- Posted by:

¤LadyDarkness over at the
HIM Club
board has come up with the closest lyrics I've checked out
so far.
And loves light would
Let me be you
Through all the emptiness that had become my home
And loves ice cold
It seduced me with you
And that moment I knew I was out of hope
*Chorus*
Heal me
I begged but love said no
Leave me
Dead or let me go
Heal me
I cried and love said no
Heal me
I cried and love said no
Love icy tomb
Dug open for you
Lies in a cemetery that may use my name
Love fire tomb
From me to you
Rips your heart out and leaves you
Bleeding with a smile on your face
*Chorus*
I'm sure as the days go by we'll get some of the holes
patched up. I can't wait for the studio version!

to hear the new song "Love Said No" that HIM performed
at the New Year's gig at Tavastia. The 60th time around,
it's grown on me.
¤ Also, a random tidbit: Shikashi
at the 9th Circle Forums (bet you wish I'd post the
link, huh?) was watching a TechTV show about mobile gaming
when this
came on. Strangely, the show is filmed in California. (Credit:

¤ Valo is interviewed in Modern
Fix this month. To read the entire article, click
here. Honestly, I think it's one of the better American
interviews thus far.
¤ HIM is also featured in the March
2004 edition of Metal Edge. I believe it's their
first full length American interview.
¤ A side note, the US release of Razorblade
Romance has sold over 34,000 copies since it's debut
October 28th. Not too bad for not having a huge amount of
press just yet.
¤ HIM played their traditional new
year gig in Tavastia. Their supporting act was Impaled Nazarene.
Here's the setlist for the show.
1. Soul On Fire
2. Your Sweet 666
3. Join Me
4. Beyond Redemption
5. Heartache Every Moment
6. Its All Tears
7. In Joy & Sorrow
8. Right Here In My Arms
9. Funeral of Hearts
10. Lose You Tonight
11. Poison Girl
12. The Sacrament
13. Pretending
14. Wicked Game
15. Buried Alive By Love
16. Solitary Man
17. Sweet Pandemonium
18. Razorblade Kiss
19. And Love Said No
20. Gone With The Sin
Outro: We Are The World
The gig was shown on two Finnish channels. MTV3 aired the
concert, but they limited the time to about 50 minutes.
MTV3+ showed more of the show and included
live interviews from backstage, but it's been said that
the show was only taped through Buried Alive By Love.
For those of you with BitTorrent, you could
download
a DVD-rip of the show. I haven't downloaded it yet,
so it may be something different. The link may be broken
at times too. (NOTE: The file is 3.2GB, so it's going to
be a while.)
