Bootleg Update- Posted by:
(12.26.23) |
|
¤ I recently received a bootleg going
around entitled "Deadly Love Live: Pampas, Finland
2003." The date is 6.13.2003, but the show is bullshit.
It's not from 2003, hell, it's not even from Finland, it's
from Sweden! It's actually a completed version of the 6.13.2002
Hultsfred Festival show we previously posted in our
bootleg
section.
So instead of posting a bullshit bootleg,
we've upgraded our audio version of the Hultsfred Festival
show to include the new tracks. And I believe the quality
is even better than before.
Don't get ripped off on eBay, I saw somebody
pay $36 for this. Didn't they notice there were no new tracks
listed or played? Oh well, now you know, and as Sgt.
Slaughter used to say: "Knowing is half the battle!"
Also, I'll be posting some more bootlegs
soon, so stay tuned.

Huge Contest & More - Posted by:
(12.22.23) |
|
¤ For those that live in the UK, HIM
Online is holding a HUGE contest giveaway! It's easy
to enter, simply go to one of the
listed retailers and pick up the new Funeral of Hearts
single that is being released January 12.
You'll get some kind of snazzy playing card
with a number on it. Keep that card, obviously, and on January
19th, they'll announce the winning numbers on the front
page of HIM
Online. They're giving away a whole lot of shit, so
your chances are good.
If somebody in the UK would be so kind as
to pick me up one of those singles and playing cards, I'd
gladly pay them or trade them some wonderful bootlegs for
it! I don't even care if I win, I just want the friggin'
card. Contact
me if you're interested!
Also, thanks to Bam for setting a bad example
for the kids of London. It seems as though he jumped off
the balcony at their gig at Astoria on Friday, and then
a few minutes later a copycat did the same. The difference?
Bam's Bam. The kid is just another wannabe idiot and hurt
somebody. Read the full story here.
I would have pretended to be kicked in the
face by his shoe so I'd have a reason to punch him. But
that's just me...

New Songs - Posted by:
(12.21.23) |
|
¤ At the recent Astoria gig on December
19, HIM performed two new songs. One was called "Love
Said No" and the other was "Solitary Man."
Although Solitary Man has been played before, apparently
they're going to record a studio version of it.
Though I've recently been told that they
played "Love Said No," "Solitary Man,"
and THEN another one, so that would be two completely new
songs instead of one new song and a cover.
Either way, everyone's favorite video director
Bam Margera has apparently signed on to direct the videos
for the two new songs, which are possible singles for the
next album.

Hot Topic - Posted by:
(12.21.23) |
|
¤ In case you didn't know, Hot Topic
is now carrying HIM merchandise. (Alright, a shirt, lanyard
and CD, but that's a start.) Also, my local Hot Topic has
Razorblade Romance in the "Elite Eight"
listening station.
From what I've been told, the stuff is selling
good, so thanks to Hot Topic for having good taste and helping
us expose a great band!

H.i.M. Not HIM - Posted by:
(12.20.23) |
|
¤ I know a lot of us were already
ecstatic about HIM playing in America, but unfortunately
it isn't true. It's that shitty American jazz band that's
performing, not our beloved Finns. If you bought tickets,
burn them, because that's the shitty band that caused HIM
so many problems over a name.

East Coast Romper Review - Posted by:
(12.19.23) |
|
¤ Stephanie Stevens at East
Coast Romper has reviewed Razorblade Romance
and has said HIM "are bringing 'love metal' to the
bland contemporary music world and I must say they are the
perfect blend of good looks, talent and creative and alluring
musicianship."
Pff, as if we didn't know that already? ;)

¤ Heartagram has once again put out
another fabulous Christmas card. I wish I would have saved
last year's. Anyway, you can view it here.

HIM in US Magazines- Posted by:
(12.15.23) |
|
¤ HIM is featured in various US magazines.
There's an ad in Outburn magazine, a small piece in Guitar
World, Revolver, Alternative Press and something coming
up in Gothic Beauty.
We have scans of the Revolver,
Guitar
World, and Alternative
Press features in our Media
section.

Ozzy Postpones Tour Again - Posted by:
(12.15.23) |
|
¤ Ozzy Osbourne, who invited HIM to
tour Europe with him, has had an accident. If you haven't
heard by now, you've been living with your head under a
rock or in your ass. We're just posting this for filler.
The Prince of Darkness crashed his ATV on
his ranch in Buckingham Shire. An ambulance evacuated him
immediately to a hospital, where he had an emergency operation.
Ozzy broke 6 ribs, his collarbone and a vertebra in his
neck.
Ozzy had this to say: "Erurada mah fucking
ATV fucking urawahwld crashed man, I'm all fucking kinds
of ugghaeard fucking hurt man."
Seriously, even though I hate his show, I
hope he gets well soon.

Welcome to The Sacrament! - Posted by:
(12.15.23) |
|
¤ Alright, after a month of planning
(read 'being a lazy ass') we've finally got this bitch ready
to go! Because I felt there weren't many American HIM sites,
we decided to make our own.
Let me answer some questions before you even ask:
"Where is the forum?"
- Well, I hate forums. In my opinion, forums are just a
place for people to bitch at one another over stupid shit.
So what if somebody wants to be completely unoriginal and
get the exact same tattoo as Ville and Bam, let them. It's
not your body. Also, it's annoying and sickening when kids
today can't even spell correctly and use numbers to get
their point across. I blame Avril Lavigne.
But I know a lot of you would like a forum, so here are
my two choices besides the 9th Circle Street Team Board.
HIM
Club - Bam
Margera Message Board
"Is this site 100% complete?"
- Not really. We'll never be complete. Eventually I'll add
a guitar tab page because I play guitar and am tired of
seeing the same shitty tabs all over the place. When I find
some that are accurate, I'll post them for you all.
