¤ HIM has unleashed a brand new e-card for your consumption. The only audio that is on now is "Wings of a Butterfly" but it also features the video, podcasts, photos, the new bio, and all your other HIM needs in one handy dandy link to spread around.

¤ Even though I have no intentions of putting it up until September, I just had to let you guys see the new layout.* It's not quite 100% finished, just need to add some frills. Shane's gonna kill me...but I'm still better than him at Tic-Tac-Toe.

Shane's Edit: Since Jay is so lazy and doesn't look for any real news, I've done it. Apparently there's 2 new US tour dates released. The first one happens to be the one I'll most likely be at. October 21 at the Quest Club in Minneapolis. The other is November 3 at the House of Blues, Orlando. I already checked out the Quest gig, and it's on their website as well as ticketmaster. Those go on sale August 27 and the same goes for Orlando.

Also, for those of you who missed it, HIM was featured on Viva La Bam last Sunday on MTV. The show was based around Bam running around Finland and Russia in search of Raab's former wife... and also attending Ruisrock festival. Valo accompanied Bam on some of his adventures, as did Jussi of The 69 Eyes. Towards the end, at Ruisrock, they showed clips of HIM's performance of "Vampire Heart" which was pretty damn cool. I took some screen caps of it for you all to see. Enjoy.

Bootlegs 'n Shit
¤ Just so everyone knows, I won't be taking any new trade requests during the month of August. I'll be out of town off and on pretty much all month. I'll still complete the trades I currently have to do during this time, just be patient.

¤ I am looking into moving the site to a dedicated server soon. What that means is a bigger and better server that can handle a very large amount of traffic and downloads and a few other things that I'm going to keep to myself for now in fear that I never produce them or they fail miserably.

With that will/should come a new look to the site, maybe something that looks like it ties in with the new album. All of this is a few months from becoming a reality, so just sit tight until then.

¤ Revolver magazine has published an article about HIM and the new album. They also included some of the lyrics to "Face of God." I'll get you guys a scan this week, but here is what they published:

¤ As you may have heard, Ville is engaged to his girlfriend Jonna. He proposed at the Ruisrock Festival and apparently they got matching DILLIGAF ring tattoos that stands for "Does It Look Like I Give A Fuck?" I'm not so sure about the ring tattoo thing, so take that with a grain of salt.

Bam also has the DILLIGAF tattoo on his wrist, and there was a picture of him and some random girl showing off their matching DILLIGAF tattoos, so there could have been some sort of mix up in the news story. (I just heard that it was their names that were tattooed instead of DILLIGAF.)

In a side note, I tried to be cool like everyone else and get the same tattoo behind my ear, but the artist fucked up and inked "DILLIFAG" instead. I am sad.

¤ According to N-Joy, a German radio station, HIM is going to play a secret gig in Hamburg. As I understand it, the only way to get a ticket is to be an N-Joy listener. The gig is said to set to happen in a castle. (Credit: HIM666 Club)

¤ Bam is reported to be setting up his own Viva La Bands tour. The tour will feature bands from the CD of the same name. HIM is set to headline a few shows, Detroit being one of them. cKy will be the headliner the days HIM doesn't. Other bands set to perform are Cradle of Filth,Turbonegro and Negative. ¤ HIM is set to perform at the Voodoo Festival in New Orleans Halloween weekend. Nine Inch Nails will headline the festival. Other bands set to perform are The Flaming Lips, Billy fucking Idol, Queens of the Stone Age, Mindless Self Indulgence, My Chemical Romance, Cake, and Joss Stone. Check out the rest of the initial lineup here.
