It's a Celebration, Bitch!- Posted by:
(4.30.04) |

¤ On this very day 23 years ago, yours truly entered
this world to make it a better place...and what a great
job I've done. I see a lot of you really enjoyed the Britney
Spears mp3 I posted the other day....it even started a
discussion at the BMMB about Britney sampling "Join
Me."
The real reason why I posted the song up was because...in
all honesty, I had nothing better to do. I figured it would
be funny, but as usual it ended up being stupid. It made
me smile, though.

I have another review of HIM in the USA from
both Bowery and TLA. It was written by a good friend of
mine, so

¤ According to this random Nightwish
site, it appears that Ville will be featured on the
new album in a duet with Tarja. You can read the interview
here,
if you understand Spanish. If you don't, you could always
use Babblefish.
¤ More wallpapers were added, check
them out here.
Thanks everybody, keep them coming!
¤ Am
I the only one who's disgusted by this shoe ad featuring
Ville with Kelly Osbourne?

HIM In the USA- Posted by:
(4.19.04) |
|
¤ What's going on kiddies? Now that
HIM have arrived in the US, I bet you're wondering how the
shows are going. Other than poor Ville not being able to
smoke onstage, I guess everything's going okay.
But thanks to a few dear readers, you can
view pics from the NY Bowery show, and read a review of
the TLA show in Philly.
To read Kathie Brennan's review, click here.
To check out some pics from the Bowery Ballroom
show, click here.
The password is Finland. (©, credit, and extra special
thanks to Kandas Lupia @ The 9th Circle.)
¤ I added some new links
and wallpapers,
so check those out. Thanks to everyone who sent things in!
Other than that, there isn't much HIM news going around.
Don't forget about the autograph session
tomorrow at 1pm in Cambridge!

A Splendiferous Update- Posted by:

¤ I figured some of you guys would
like to see the official Philly Concert poster. It's a modified
photograph of City Hall in Philly. It's pretty neat, just
thought I'd share. (© & Credit: 9th Circle)
¤ Great news for us US fans! There's
a rumor going around about a signing appearance at Newbury
Comics on Monday, April 19th. Please keep in mind that this
is completely unconfirmed, but cross all your fingers
and toes.
They are not going to play, just sign autographs. And NO,
I don't know if they're going to the store in your area
where your friend's girlfriend's brother works. If anything
develops, we'll definitely hook you up with the information.

¤ Here are some updated release dates for new HIM
shit:
Solitary
Man will be released in the UK on April 26th. Formats
will be a 7" vinyl, a DVD maxi-single, and a regular-ass
CD.
The And Love Said No vinyl box set will be released
in Europe on May 3rd. The price is about $80USD. It will
contain Greatest Lovesongs Vol. 666, Razorblade
Romance, Deep Shadows and Brilliant Highlights,
Love Metal and the Wicked Game EP.
Many people expected the 666 Ways to Love EP to
be included, but that was probably a rumor. I got the tracklist
from Amazon.co.uk.

Klubi posted and interview they did with Mige from the

¤ And now for a few house notes:
We've updated our discography
and fixed a few errors.
Also, this is just to let you know that YES, I do know
that the Universal link redirects you to Heartagram.com
now. The reason is there were some things going on at Universal.
That's all I can say, because that's all I know. Thanks
to everyone who informed me about this, I appreciate it.
¤ Here's an e-mail I got a few days ago.
From: GastbeiM
Subject: Tourbus
Here
is a picture of the offical HIM-Tourbus. My friend
saw him driving behind the concert hall and called us. We
ran after him. I was suprised that nobody saw the tourbus
only she. Then we wants to pass the securtiy men but they
didnt allowed it.
They only let the mother of my friend pass and she
makes a photo. She says: "Oh there where 5 boys in
black, one had a (ähh this thing that wears Ville on
his head not a hat. I hope you know what I mean I don't
know the English word), smoking a cigarette and was slim.
Argh man I'm so angry why had'nt I ran the securitys
over. "I should be right there in his arms so in love"
It's a pity that she only photography the bus and not Ville.
Her answer: "What you want a photo of them? I thought
you wanted a photo of the tourbus. You don't know what you
want."
Bang you head and drink this lovely drink (Ville wrote
a song for Jägermeister. On the concert he says it's
the sacrament:"And I know my weak prayers are not enough
to heal" Yeah is aching head I think.

¤ This may be of importance to you folks going to
the Pittsburgh show. The venue has been changed for the
following date:
Wednesday, April 21st
Pittsburgh, PA
The Rock Club @ Station Square
Tickets: $15 (day of show) $15 (advance) $10 (premium seating)
On-sale: 3.13 (Kinda late, huh?)
I'm not sure if the Mr. Smalls tickets will be honored,
I assume so, but you may want to contact both venues to
make sure. Again, I don't have ANY ticket information, so
check Ticketmaster or better yet, the venues themselves.

Rytmi Interview - Posted by: Shane
(4.1.04) |
|
¤ Credit: Darksecretclub
Ville and Seppo gave an interview for latest Rytmi issue
(a Finnish magazine) and tell lots of interesting things
that us, fans wanna know.
Ville says that HIM are considering creating their own
record company. It would be better for them financially,
but as he believes, that would take a lot of time and that
a better choice would be a deal with a big international
record company abroad. They have lots of conversations with
US and UK record companies.
¤ Ville has also wrote few new songs but they won't
go to studio until next autumn. New album's first single
has been planned to release during Spring 2005 and the new
album during autumn 2005.
He also said that they won't play new songs in the gigs
anymore before they are released due to them spreading so
quickly on the Internet.
¤ As far as the HIM DVD is concerned, it will be
released before next Christmas and it will include all HIM
videos, the Tavastia 31.12.03 gig & more. He also says
that he listens a lot to dub reggae at the moment!
¤ For HIM's upcoming tour in the US, they plan to
only play songs from Razorblade Romance since it's
the only album available in the US. But Ville says that
Universal will release rest of the albums during this year
so we US fans have to be patient.
¤ Plus there's info about their selling rates:
Greatest Love Songs Vol. 666 : Approx. 340 000 copies
Razorblade Romance : Only HIM album to sell over
1 million copies
Deep Shadows and Brilliant Highlights : Almost 500
000 copies
Love Metal : Almost 400 000 copies
Rytmi also says that the Wicked Game single and HER:
Razorblade Romance are very rare and if you have one
you can earn bunch of money if you sell them.
